Hineni Embodied
Today I’m sharing with you my favorite Hebrew word:
Hineni
It translates as “here I am.” For me, it’s an invitation to surrender, to show up, to say “hineni embodied,” all that I am, here I am. It’s a reminder to be in the being mode- fully present. Just be. In my previous newsletters I still had my guard up about sharing aspects of my spiritual side. But, as a new mama (my baby is now 11 months old!), I’m all about owning who I am more so than ever. And to remind you that:

Compartmentalizing aspects of life can be helpful, but like everything, too much of it can create dissonance and disconnection from who you are at your core. I used to hold back so much of my personality, scared of being too much, but after experiencing dance therapy, I’ve continued to embrace more and more of who I AM. I’m no longer led by who I “should” be.
This comes with owning my voice and setting clear boundaries despite not being a fan of conflict. I used to avoid it at all costs and instead smile and nod, even when I would disagree with something.
Through movement I:
✨Discovered my ability to say no, with my body as an ally helping me feel empowered.
✨Embraced my skin, feeling comfortable in it, and showing it a love I didn’t know I had. A deep, sweet, compassionate love for that little girl who was sexually abused.
✨Healed of childhood trauma. I say this wholeheartedly because I don’t like using the word “healed” too much since I don’t believe others can heal you. Although I was being guided, it was through movement exploration that I felt the internal shift towards wholeness that forever changed my life.

When we show up as our full self in our relationships, we feel more peace within and create deeper bonds with those around us. This is what I help my clients experience- reconnecting to their raw, authentic self and loving the ish out of who they are so that they can indulge in loving and being loved.
Through movement I guide you to attune to your body’s wisdom and listen to the messages it has to share with you. The most profound realizations and breakthroughs typically occur when processing through movement. This is because all of the stagnant energy and suppressed emotions move through you and are expressed and released.
